Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid Autumn Festival is on the 15th day of August in the lunar calendar, usually from the beginning of September to the beginning of October in the Gregorian calendar, and the full moon in the evening. This is a time for family members and relatives to gather and enjoy the full moon - an auspicious symbol of wealth, harmony and luck. Adults usually enjoy a variety of fragrant moon cakes, accompanied by a cup of hot Chinese tea, while children run around with lanterns.
